Texas

I’ve spent a lot of time in Texas. I’ve been to big cities like Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio. I’ve been to smaller ones like Lubbock, Midland and Amarillo and I’ve been to small towns you’ve probably never heard of like Friona, Harlingen or Hereford. But that was all for work.

Since starting up this blog, we’ve visited Texas a couple of times. We spent a weekend in Austin listening to live music after a work meeting in Houston several years ago and in the fall of 2026, we made a little trot around southern and West Texas visiting Lubbock, Marathon, Big Bend National Park and San Antonio (post coming soon).
