Thus far, our travels to Connecticut and Rhode Island (together) have been confined to a drive through Connecticut enroute to New York City, a failed attempt to visit the Mark Twain House in Hartford (turns out even on a post-Labor Day weekend Monday you need a reservation) and an overnight stay in Mystic and a couple of nights in Newport, Rhode Island.
Suffice it to say, we will be back on a future New England trip this time with reservations to visit Mark Twain. You can read about our one trip here.
