Amsterdam is a great place to transit into or out of Europe. Not only is it a great city and place to visit, we can often find less expensive fares into Schipol Airport than to Lisbon or other European destinations. As such, we have now laid over twice in Amsterdam and extended our layover by a couple of days to enjoy the city and its surrounds.
While we’ve not yet strayed too far from Amsterdam itself, we have plans to do so in the not-so-distant future.
