We began and neared the end of our two months in Italia in Spring 2022 in this narrow strip of coastal land between France and Tuscany, home to the Italian Riviera.
We started our trip in Genoa, with its frenzy of activity, lack of tourists, narrow caruggi alleyways and great food. From Genoa, we daytripped to Portofino.
As we rounded the corner for home and the end of our Spring trip, we returned to Liguria and stayed in La Spezia and visited Cinqueterre.
