Lazio

We spent most of our time in Lazio in Rome. We spent a full week in an Airbnb right near the Campo di Fiori and the Pantheon. Perfectly located for exploring both the sights and the neighborhoods. We visited the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. We meandered through the Jewish Ghetto and Travestere. With a full week, we had hoped to visit some of the outer sites like the catacombs and Ostia Antica, but ran out of time. Gotta save something for next time. Read our review of Rome here.

We also cut out of the city for one day to visit Frascati for a wine tour, food tour and lunch. It was a quick, day trip and our tour was ridiculously inexpensive. For details click here.
