People often smirk when I say I love the beauty of the Plains States, but I do. Flat or rolling hills, you can see for miles. Farmland seems to stretch forever and ever. I’ve driven across the plains (Nebraska and Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma and South Dakota and Minnesota) many times both moving east to west and for work trips. I’m still enthralled.
