New York City. Until the spring of 2023, we had only blogged about New York City. In the earlier part of David’s career, he traveled all over upstate New York and lived for a long time across Lake Champlain from the Adirondacks in Burlington, VT. Upstate. Beyond the Big Apple, we spent a little over a week in upstate New York in the spring of 2023. Read about our trip to the Finger Lakes, including links to our visit to Niagara Falls and our visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
We also visited Hyde Park, New York and the Franklin Delano Roosevelt library while upstate.
A year or so after visiting the Finger Lakes on our trip around upstate New York, we returned to the Lake Champlain Valley and visited friends on both the Vermont and New York sides of the lake.
