Interestingly, we’ve done very little posting about our own home state, which we love. More work to do, seemingly. So much writing, so little time.
Colorado is home to some of the best ski resorts in the world (unapologetically biased), the US Air Force Academy, University of Colorado (go Buffs!), the Cities of Fort Collins, Boulder, Estes Park, Steamboat Springs, Glenwood Springs, Colorado Springs, Durango, Grand Junction and our home town Denver. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Dinosaur National Monument, Mesa Verde and Great Sand Dunes National Parks and Rocky Mountain National Park.
There are 53 mountain peaks above 14,000 feet in Colorado (I’ve tackled one, to date).
As a native Bostonian, I’m sometimes persona non grata around these parts particularly during football season when the state religion (the Denver Broncos) kicks into full swing.
Visit Colorado, its beautiful and has much to do.
